The Power of Lead Generation

Lead generation is matching consumers to advertisers that have a product and/or service that the consumer may be viably interested in.  Although there are many, one of the top primary advantages of lead generation technology is gaining customer information through leads provided by the thousands of affiliates who are partnered with an affiliate network.

One of the best ways to increase leads and drive sales is to have your affiliate program managed through a reputable affiliate network.  Without lead generation, many advertisers would have to depend upon costly advertising campaigns and tracking results for this can be extremely time-consuming and expensive.  Another advantage of having your affiliate program managed through a CPA network is that tracking is done in real time and more comprehensive reports can be pulled in minutes.  These reports will give you traffic statistics including the number of impressions, clicks, and the average number of the most requested links by affiliates in your affiliate program.  With regards to forecasting for future campaigns – this can be the biggest compliment to your analysis.

As leads are generated, the advertiser and the CPA network work together to make sure that the leads are of a qualified nature.  The advertiser will not need to pay for a lead unless it is qualified.  As an advertiser, you can tailor what information you would consider most important in order for it to be a qualified lead.  You would definitely want to know how you will be contacting these leads.  By knowing this you will then know what information you would like to have filled out by the potential customer.  For example, if you prefer to contact your customers via email you may just want to use an email submit campaign.  Therefore, in order for it to be a qualified lead all you would need from the affiliate would be an email address.  If you want to be more specific in your consumption of potential consumers and are only looking to target consumers in a particular geographic location then you would build a lead campaign and ask that qualified leads have more detailed information about the consumer.

In the old days, advertisers would originally have to wait for clients to come to them or execute a lot of cold calling, but by having an affiliate program through a CPA network the affiliates find the consumers for the advertisers; it would then be a warm call and the chances of making a sale are much higher.

Lead generation campaigns have proven, time and time again, to be quite successful over the last few years. Even with the current state of the economy; it is proving to be a very sturdy and cost effective way of advertising.  Also, let’s not forget that there are thousands of affiliates promoting your product or services and they are doing it around the clock by leveraging the power of the internet.
