Online Lead Generation with Affiliate Networks

Is your company looking to increase their online sales leads or customer acquisitions? The answer is more than likely, yes. Most companies, at this moment in time, are not seeing a good return on their investment because of the state of the economy and also to a degree because no one really pays attention to traditional forms of advertising. Most consumers like to be more informed and engaged before making a purchase and there no denying that internet marketing helps with this process. The easiest and most cost effective ways to find leads, and make your sales goal, is through lead generation via the use of an affiliate network.

By having a mass number of relationships with top-of-the-line publishers in the affiliate marketing world – an affiliate network is able to help generate a large amount of good, quality leads for you in minimal time. They can give you the capability to reach millions of potential customers much faster. An affiliate network is also able to position your product in front of a specific market segment whether it’s geographically, demographically, or psychographically – at any given time.

Envision the results of the lead generation that you will receive when the online leads are coming in from a segment that you know works well for you. Imagine how often or how much you would improve your sales when you have a relationship with an accredited affiliate network. Can you picture how many online leads you would receive from several thousand publishers? Generating sales & customer leads online is not the future, it is the now.

Lead generation is abbreviated by most in the affiliate marketing industry as CPL (cost per lead). When partnering up with an affiliate network, most advertisers prefer to use a CPL campaign for their products/services to be promoted. A majority of the time it is because they need only to pay commissions for a lead when it is a valid lead. Keep in mind, the advertiser also has control over what they prefer a valid lead to be (ex. number of fields on a form to be filled out). For instance, if you are trying to build an email list of customers that you can send your weekly newsletter to, then you would want to capture names and email addresses. If you are selling a product, then you would want to capture the customers name, address, email, phone, and billing information. Lead generation through an arrangement with an affiliate network is unquestionably a win – win situation for any advertiser.
